The first assignment: make it feel like luxury without using the word "luxury." The founder wanted to create an elevated vibe, but she didn't want to use the word "luxury" since it tends to be overused in the beauty industry. 

The second assignment: create an inclusive brand experience that reaches out a hand to those who may not typically feel invited into the modern beauty space. 

We started by nailing down the brand's messaging, and leaned on that solid foundation to create the kind of website you can just feel — feel enchanted, feel excited, feel welcome. A special kind of approachable elegance.

As a part of the Brand Messaging service for this brand, we conceptualized a variety of ways to showcase its personality and have every touchpoint align with the new messaging. 

This included an Instagram segment called “Tailored Tuesdays.” Since their brand focuses on curating a bespoke style for each client, this segment is a weekly showcase of one of their artists doing a client’s makeup and explaining how and why she is tailoring the look to that client’s needs — whether that be helping the client achieve a desired look, caring for a certain skin type, or anything else. This type of post provides value to followers while also building trust in the brand’s ability to create the personalized experience that they promise.
